Saturday, April 23, 2005 ~ No QuesTions asked. Once apon a time... there was a boy named John. John was a normal human, but was born & raised in a country whose society had a large majority of genatically enhanced humans... He enjoyed his time there and was sad when he was told that his family was moving back to his homeland where there were many more like him.. John was not too excited at the prospect of leaving his current home for a new place where he didnt know anyone even though there would be more of his own people there...So he went back with his family, bid farewell to his friends & they all promised to meet sometime in the future, if it was possible, and traveled to his new home. As per expected, his next home had people like himself in the majority... however he noted that unlike his pervious home... not all people excepted him.. most rejected him due to the part that he spoke differently & had come from a different background from them... John was sad.. but pulled through... and although eventually he found friends & settled in, he never forgot what happened as a kid when he 1st arrived... As a matter of fact, he made a decision to hide his past deep down, not letting others know... In fact, some topics became sensetive to him, such as language, coz in the place where he grew up, people spoke very differently, and when he came to his new home, people ironically looked down on him coz he spoke that way... Ironically as he grew up he noticed more & more people trying to talk like people from his old country... Now the choice for John has come... where does he stand? Should he stand with his current country? or should he leave & return to his orginal place of birth? Ok.... that was a story i wrote coz i was bored... hehehe... tell me what u think of it ... This is one of those stories that one writes after watching too many anime & movies! hahaha... But actually i like this story beacuse it can be applied to everyday life.. any situation... just think. STOP. Forget the current. Rest your mind. Listen... think... Visualize the future... What future do you want? think... dream.. explore, therefore i tell u... cast off yr nets, hoist the sails, start the engines, cast off.... explore,dream, imagine.... *A ship in a habor is safe.
