Saturday, May 27, 2006 ~ Ring the Bell, Sound the Trumpet. I was at the wake/memorial service for auntie Jenni for the past 2 nights. It was touching and a reminder to me about what this great lady has done for me. I remember she was one of the few that affirmed me with encouraging words, spuring me on to be better then what I could be. She never thought less of me and always believed in me, in the good in me,no matter how much I disappointed. Today at the wake, Uncle Michael told me that I had her "fingerprints" all over me, to which I say Amen.If not for her I don't think I would be the person I am today, believing and seeing the impossible in others. Always looking @ the potential and the good in a person, always encouraging. It's such things that made me want to be an encourager and helper. It's great to know that she's in a better place now, looking down & smiling apond us. :) Well, met quite a few old friends at the service, Sean,Dale,Kev,Zhangyang etc.. great to meet up with old friends... especially after all this time... great to see you guys.. keep in contact yeah?
