Well, I wanted to write alot under different circumstances, however things turned out rather unexpectedly. This morning a friend, one I would say made an impact in my life died. She was hit by a motorcyclist while in Indonesia and was rushed over to Singapore but didnt make it. Rest well Auntie Jenni. I'll always remember the times u listened and helped my thru stuff in life, being there to always listen when needed and providing advice & encouragement. Thank you.

Some may ask why this has happened, well honesty i dont have an answer; but I was reading a book on Marines who found God in Iraq and the chapter I was reading when I recieved the news was called KIA, when one of the marines bought the farm(died). The chaplin(the author) said this at the memorial service,

Isaiah 55:8-10(NIV)
8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,"
declares the LORD.

9 "As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10 As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater

I cant say why it happened but this I do know, that God has a plan to prosper us and although bad things may happen so long as we put our faith and trust in God, he'll see us through. I also know that she's in a better place then she is now, a place where there's no death, where she can meet God face to face & ask him all the questions she wants(remember to ask God those dinosaur questions we discussed a long time ago yeah?).

In death,I find that those that are left behind have to fight on & suffer more then the person whose just died.

For all of us that are in grief :
Ezekiel 34:12
12 As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness.

I have no doubt that she would want us to continue her work in Indonesia and press on! To fight the GOOD fight and finish that race. She always encouraged us to press on and be better then what we are. And that's what I'll do. No surrender, I'll push on to the end and fight that GOOD FIGHT and FINISH IT WELL! Amen.

Sound the last post. Rest Well Aunti Jenni, and take care Uncle Michael.
