Sunday, April 15, 2007 ~ GAS! GAS! GAS! Had an interesting week, had a stop by the Gas chamber which was absoultely hot & crazy! I think we didn't seal the mask on properly or it was faultly coz the minute we got in, quite a few of us got a puff of the riot gas and where all tearing and having a burning senation in our throats. We decided to continue on however as we felt it was better to get it over & done with and got saboed by our OC who made us do more exercises and burnt more pallets coz we were HQ.... :pI remember haivng my throat burning, skin buring and mucus all over my nose due to my blocked nose... quite memoriable i must say... Had ATP after that, quite an experience.. missing all the 100m & 50m night targets but hitting all the 200m ones... thank God that the day shoot was better- 16/24! There was 1 shot where a shot was heard and the target went down BUT neither my friend in the next lane nor myself shot... weird? Thank God it happened coz that was enough for me to pass! Nvm, will get marksmen next time! plus marksmen+ 200 dollars for combat shoot! I must say that ATP's day shoot can be super fun! running 300m and shooting really gets your adrenline pumping... Had LTA Emmerson as my safety and I have to say he's probably one of the best officers/spotters that I've had! A very humble and encouraging fellow, hope he goes far in the army! :) I hope some peacekeeping mission comes up soon and they need voluenteers, coz I really wanna go!
