Saturday, September 22, 2007 ~ What remains? It's been a very long and tiring week. We 3 days of non stop prep which ended with a whole day turn out on thursday for the whole company by the General Staff Ops Center. It was crazy, on 1 hand it was exciting at the start coz it seemed like some real op, but then it turned out to be an exercise. They inspected almost everything we had, and unfortunatly 2/3 of our vehicles failed! Including my own vehicle, though the faults were not mine(they were from before I took over the vehicle). All of us put in 200% and we were mostly very very disappointed that our vehicles failed.. :( Nevertheless, I'm super happy it's over! Today's book out was crapped up! Waited like 2.5 hours for the Armskote to clear coz some *insert random word* screwed up! Instead of booking out around 330pm we got out at 6pm! Argh!Things seem to have a way of growing outta control! Perhaps distractions & confusions are better words to be used? Oh u sweet distractions! How I wish I could understand & read u better... I admit, the lack of ability to read the situation and lack of intel really irks me! How I wish I knew better! Lord, please give me wisdom in this!!
